Learning about the different states of matter is an important foundational concept in science. The goal of this lesson is to teach students matter in all three states, for them to understand how molecules act and behave, and also for them to realize that we are surrounded by objects and items that are constantly changing. Let’s have some fun!

As March comes to an end so does our lesson on magnets. We did so many science activities, had so much fun, and hopefully learned a lot too. It can be great to review our material and talk to our friends and family about it. Maybe you have a little brother or sister who you can teach about magnets. This video should help you out!

Happy learning!

A simple activity that can be done in the classroom or at home is having students find items that are magnetic and non-magnetic. So grab a magnetic and go on a treasure hunt! Here are a few questions to keep in mind while you look for your treasure!

What kind of items are magnetic?

What kind of material do you think these items are made of?

Do magnets stick to other magnets???

Happy learning!
